about my work for Verizon
As the contracted designer in Verizon’s internet of things (IoT) marketing department, I assisted with all things graphics and communications in the team, focusing half my time on internal communications, with the other half of my time devoted to supporting the marketing team. My role spanned from presentation designer, to social media strategist, trade show designer, and internal comms support/outreach.

Email and web banner campaign for Verizon’s IoT Expo. I worked to make a responsive, on-brand email template for Verizon’s IoT division (Exponent).
I worked swiftly with executive leadership to create and refine presentations to secure multi-million dollar contracts with partners. Industries spanned developers, chip manufacturers, and telco companies.

One of my favorite projects was an idea I pitched: a two prong approach highlighting hardware (targeting developers and manufacturers) and illustrating the abstract concept of internet of things (targeting the consumer market).

For the consumer-focused approach, I wanted to highlight the benefits of a connected world; I used striking visuals, saturated night lights, and themes of technology to highlight Verizon’s ThingSpace platform.

Collaborating with the marketing manager and the copywriter, we strategized, pitched, and created social media images that were blasted on Verizon’s official twitter feeds

I worked with thought leaders in the IoT space to create shareable images for twitter and linked in; this series targeted the developer market, promoting Verizon’s ThingSpace IoT platform

I designed this bespoke icon set for Verizon's IoT team, highlighting themes of connectivity, cloud servers, and technology.
